    Common questions

    Frequently asked.

What is the process to apply for a Most Loved Workplaces® list?+

Complete the online company profile and application. A BPI reviewer verifies eligibility, then your account dashboard surfaces a URL for the Love of Workplace Index® Pulse Validation survey. A minimum of 33% (or 1,000 employees, whichever is lower) must complete it. BPI reviews the full application and returns a decision within two weeks.

What is the Love of Workplace Index® Pulse Validation?+

LOWI® is a validated, 3–4 minute employee assessment measuring how much love employees have for the company across five SPARK drivers — Shared Values, Positive Future, Alignment, Respect, and Kindness. It's a prerequisite for any Most Loved Workplaces® certification or list.

How many employees must complete the survey?+

A minimum of 33% of employees for companies under 3,000 headcount, or 1,000 employees for companies with 3,000+ headcount, must respond for the company to be eligible.

    Who sees the survey results?+

Responses are collected anonymously or confidentially by Best Practice Institute, never shared with third parties or partners. Only BPI staff see individual responses for certification decisions. All published benchmarks use aggregated, non-attributable data.

Are we required to disclose vendors or partners?+

    No.
